Admission
Any woman expressing a sincere desire to stay
"Clean and Sober" may be eligible for admission for placement in
the home. Each individual must meet certain requirements before
being accepted as a resident.

Must be female age 18 or older

Must be clean and sober for a
minimum of 30 days

Must have a primary diagnosis of
alcohol and/or chemical dependency

Must have a desire to recover

Completed an inpatient or
outpatient treatment program recently

Agree to stay in the residence a
minimum of 6 months
-
Agree to sign releases of
information for medical, legal, and mental health histories
-
Ability to pass a drug and
alcohol test and agree to random drug screen testing

Must attend a minimum of five
12- step meetings weekly and obtain a sponsor

No acute medical psychiatric
problems

Have an ability to maintain
self-care and participate in job functions for the
maintenance of the facility, i.e. cooking and general
cleaning

Must work full time, be enrolled
in school full-time, or a combination of both

Must contribute $60-$85 per week
for room and board
-
Commit to total abstinence from
drugs and alcohol
-
Respect the rights, views, and
property of other residents and get along with others
Upon meeting these criteria, an individual can be accepted into
the home without regard to race, nationality, disability, or
religious background.
Referrals are accepted from any organization or
agency serving the addicted person. Previous arrangements must
have been coordinated between the agency and the referral. The
agency must also be responsible for the appropriate information
on the candidate.
Referrals are accepted if no intoxication has
occurred in the previous 30 days and if there is no apparent
physical or psychological limitations.
In
the event the Rea of Hope Fellowship Home is operating at or
near capacity; Kanawha, Putnam, Clay, Lincoln, Boone, and
Fayette county residents will receive first priority for
admission.
